By using ManipurAcademicConnect you agree to these terms. They exist to keep the directory useful and safe for students reaching out to strangers.

Who can join

The directory is for people from Manipur in research, higher study and industry, and for students from Manipur who want to contact them. You must be 16 or older and provide accurate information about yourself.

Acceptable use

• Represent only yourself. Do not impersonate anyone.
• Use intro requests to make genuine academic or professional contact — not for spam, solicitation, or harassment.
• Do not scrape or bulk-collect member data.
• Only add someone else’s profile (admins) with that person’s consent.

Moderation

We may hide, edit or remove profiles and suspend accounts that break these terms, and we act on reports from members. Roles such as moderator and admin are granted by the project’s superadmins.

No warranty

This is a volunteer-run community project provided “as is”. We don’t verify every claim in every profile; use your own judgement when contacting people.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
